Hill o'many Stanes

This construction of multiple rows, 14 km south of Wick in Caithness, is in a fan-like grid 153 m wide, approximately south-north aligned, and dates from Bronze Age times. The stones (about 200 remain) are not more than one meter high. Similar settings are only to be found in the majestic alignments in Brittany, and although ceremonial or astonomical functions were suggested, the purpous of multiple rows remains unclear
